I believe this is Drew Struzan.
Actually, Movie Poster DB lists it as John Alvin, and it certainly has his slicker, airbrushed style. So ignore my first comment.
I’m confident that it’s not a Struzan as it’s not listed on his official site or mentioned on any of his fan sites as being in his oeuvre. It’s also in none of the books about him.
I’m also not certain it’s an Alvin artwork as I’ve not seen it credited to him on many sites and it’s not a whole lot like his more famous poster artwork.
My feeling is that it’s another artist who was tasked to paint it in the style of Struzan because they couldn’t afford the man himself!
