Hey! Eddie,
Just wondered if you know anything about this artist “B.E.” at all, who is he/she and do you know of any other poster with these same initials?
Nope, it’s a total mystery and one that’s bugged me for years. Even my friend Sim Branaghan, arguably the greatest British poster expert, has no idea who the initials belong to. I’ll be sure to update this if I ever find out!
No worries Eddie, I’ve been speaking to Jeff over at the APF site about the poster as it’s one I also own and he was asking about the artist, like you I have looked online to try and find out but only drawn a blank, from what you’ve just said it looks like it will always remain a mystery who this artist is, surely must just be a one off job for no one to know anything about this B.E.
